The first all-electric Porsche Macan debuted in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The official importer of Porsche in Kazakhstan, part of the Orbis Auto automotive group, has introduced the second generation of the Macan model, which has become fully electric. It is noted that in the Kazakh market, the fully electric Porsche Macan is presented in all four available versions – Macan, Macan 4, Macan 4S and Macan Turbo.
The cars are already available for order at the Porsche Centre Almaty and Porsche Centre Astana. The cost of an all-electric crossover in Kazakhstan starts with 85,505 euros per Macan. The price for the modification of the Macan 4 starts from 89 340 euros. The price for the Macan 4S starts from 96,953 euros, and for the Macan Turbo from 123,915 euros. Gaukhar Gabdrakhimova, Director of the official importer Porsche in Kazakhstan, noted:
«Luxurious and dynamic modifications of the new generation of the all-electric Porsche Macan are already available to Kazakhstani buyers. In the best traditions of the brand, they are ready to provide a new standard of comfort, convenience and innovation».
The new Macan with powertrains up to 470 kW (639 hp) provides electric performance on any road surface and a high level of everyday practicality. Technical performance comparable to a sports car is complemented by high-performance fast charging with a capacity of up to 270 kW and a range of up to 613 km (WLTP). In the new all-electric Macan, Porsche uses the latest generation of PSM electric motors with permanent drive on the front and rear axles, which ensures high efficiency and optimal power. The technical specifications speak for themselves: with the Launch Control system, the Macan 4 develops power up to 300 kW (408 hp), while the Macan Turbo reaches 470 kW (639 hp). The maximum torque is 650 and 1130 Nm, respectively, which guarantees excellent dynamic performance. The fastest of the Porsche Macan model range with a power reserve of up to 641 km is the Macan Turbo model, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The Macan 4 accelerates up to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. The maximum speed of these models is 260 and 220 km/h, respectively. New PPE platform with 800-volt architecture
The electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 100 kWh⋅, of which up to 95 kWh⋅ is available for active use. This high-voltage battery ⋅ is a key component of the new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) 800-volt architecture, pioneered by Porsche in the new Macan. The charging power from direct current reaches 270 kW. At the fast charging station, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes. Charging with alternating current up to 11 kW is possible using home chargers.
